Rating details. Sort order. Read this book several times although the first time it was for school This is the "first" romanian novel ever as they say, too good to be the first one I must say. It is amazing as to how a novel from it is still accurate in today's political and social context.
If you take the characters and give them iPhones and BMW's you have today's corrupt politicians that have arisen to power through vile acts of treachery towards their country and people. And still they get away with it because now they have enslaved everybody who could stand in their way with their tight reign on power through corruption.
